Campaigns
Liberal Youth are, first and foremost a campaigning organisation.
With the support of our members and supporters, we have taken the lead on issues such as scrapping tuition fees, the genocide in Darfur and homophobic bullying.
Liberal Youth campaigns on issues that we believe in passionately.
Campaigning allows us to raise the profile of an issue, educate people about it and force action from those in power.
Liberal Youth uses a variety of means to campaign, and many of our campaigns have been picked up by outside pressure groups and the media.
Change can only come about with your help.
Our campaigns this year go to the core of what we believe in. We are demanding that the UK catches up with the world and allows gay marraige – because we believe in equality. We are calling for the Government to recognise the war on drugs has failed and to look into the alternative approaches to tackling it – because we believe in evidence.
