LGBT+ Rights Abroad

In 41 out of 54 Commonwealth countries homosexuality is illegal.

Two of these countries have the death penalty for LGBT+ people. Six have life imprisonment. One permits torture by flogging.

LGBT+ citizens are forced to live in fear because of who they are and who they love.

They are the victims of brutal murders, violent attacks and daily discrimination. We cannot let this continue.

Throughout the year we will be campaigning to end these disgusting human rights abuses and we need your help.
