2015 will be the most unpredictable General Election in a generation. It’s going to be a difficult fight. That’s why between now and May, Liberal Youth will be organising our largest ever General Election campaign. We’ll be packing our bags and travelling up and down the country to help elect Liberal Democrat MPs.
No other political party will stand up for the liberal values that young people believe in: whether it was delivering same sex marriage, protecting your online privacy, campaigning for an evidence based drugs policy, investing in a new green economy or putting mental health care on the political agenda.
We recognise that cost is often a barrier to young people campaigning, that's why our National Action Weekends will provide free accommodation, food and travel reimbursements to help enable you to go out and win. If travel costs are higher than the set reimbursement cap, you may be eligible to apply for our Hardship Fund.
We also recognise that students are busy with exams around election times, that's why in the run-up to the General Election we'll be hitting the phones with our National Phone Bank. Find out how you can set up your Phone Bank account.
Whether you’re a student, NEET or a young professional, we need to fight for a fairer, stronger, more liberal Britain.
