Liberal Youth are affiliated to LYMEC (European Liberal Youth) and IFLRY (International Federation of Liberal Youth). We run our international campaigns and events alongside these organisations, who represent over 300,000 Young Liberals across the world.

Reporting Back – Liberal Youth Forum on Belarus

On Monday 6th February a packed room at the National Liberal Club took part in a forum on Belarus, co-hosted by Liberal Youth and Liberal International British Group.  The event covered a wide range of the problems the country currently faces; such as an oppressive dictatorship, lack of human rights and failing economy. Liberal Youth calls upon Clegg to ensure the UK are not marginalised in Europe

Liberal Youth have today backed Nick Clegg’s reaction to David Cameron’s “veto”, but have urged the Liberal Democrat leader to ensure that his comments are backed by concrete action that prevents the UK from becoming marginalised in Europe as a result. In Arendal, the fight back for democracy begins

In July, Norway was rocked by an unimaginable atrocity when a far-right extremist detonated a car bomb in Oslo city centre, killing 8, before arriving on the retreat island of Utoya, and massacring over 60 members of the AUF, the youth wing of the Norwegian Labour Party. How does the EU benefit Britain’s Youth?

With the UK’s relationship with the EU firmly in the spotlight this week, LY International takes a look at how the EU benefits the youth of Britain…. Youth employment – Almost 3.5 million jobs in the UK are dependent on trade with the EU. Pulling out would lose contract deals and cost companies more to export to the European continent.
